The heavily armored CH-53 is and can perform in extreme hot and cold environments; which is why it served well in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. The CH-53 can move heavy cargo and equipment, operate search and rescue missions, and serve in special operations. This Ted Williams painting depicts a pair of CH-53s on a special night ops mission in Vietnam.
